I received the same error with Simple Image Menu. Tried to install 2x
I received the following error on first attempt:
Upload module - Upload Failed ERROR: Could not find an XML setup file in the package.

And this error on second attempt:
Upload new module - Error Installation file not found:
/home/movetomo/public_html/administrator/components/com_installer/module/

I'm using Firefox and J! 1.0.13

Please advise

I noticed this seems to be ignored in other posts but I'll give this a little time before I provide a rating at joomla extensions directory

I got this to install after reading the only FAQ here that indicated I need to unzip the download before installing the nested zip file. This frustration could have been avoided, if someone would have responded to the earlier posts. After some testing I'm not sure this will work for my needs after all, but thanks for offering the free module.
